Red Dwarf has been resurrected by digital channel Dave for a two-part Easter weekend special, which sees the Crew finally return to Earth. Written by Red Dwarf creator Doug Nylor, Red Dwarf:Return to Earth reunited the four main characters. Red Dwarf is a BBC2 sci fi comedy show, widely broadcast in America on PBS. In

Choke

Choke was written by the author of Fight Club and it has that same kind of slightly alternate world view. Choke is the story of Victor Mancini and his multi-faceted life as a sex addict, an Historical Reenactor, a son, a friend, and a con artist. When we meet Victor he is at a Sex

Choke-From The Author of Fight Club

Chokewas written by Chuck Palahniuk, the author of Fight Club, and the film made from that book has that same kind of slightly alternate world view.  Choke is the story of Victor Mancini and his multi-faceted life as a sex addict, an Historical Reenactor, a son, a friend, and a con artist. $800 Billion Bailout-Give Me a Couple of Billion

As long the Givernment is pretending they have endless supplies of money, why can’t we all play? They could give everyone in America a couple of billion dollars and still have plenty of make believe money left over. That would be a real kick start to the economy. The Leg Lamp

Only one thing in the world could’ve dragged me away from the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window. Little Orphan Annie. -Ralphie from A Christmas Story From time to time I see the Major Award from A Christmas Story and it always makes me smile. There is something about the idea of

Running With Scissors

Memoirs, a good memoir, is a person’s experience, their memory, and how that experience mattered to them, emotionally and psychologically. Augusten Burroughs  I’ve always liked memoirs, though I didn’t always know that I was watching a memoir.

Wuthering Heights on PBS

Wuthering Heights was one of my Mom’s favorite books, but I was never able to get into it. I recently watched the PBS Masterpiece version and still find the story a bit baffling. I will have to sit down and read Wuthering Heights one of these days. I read Moby Dick and found it to
