If you’re male and you like Twilight, you’re gay-How Twilight Works
Well, I’m not really sure about that, but I am sure that I was not impressed with the two hours of nothing that happened in New Moon. Watching a moody teenage work her teen angst for all it was worth is not really my idea of a good time.
Edward the moody teen vampire was more of a guest star in this movie, with the bulk of sad sack Bella’s attention focused on the teen wolf Native American down the road. There is a threat of conflict at the end of the film, but please-don’t-fight-over-me Bella keeps the wolf and the vamp from fighting over her.
It was kind of fun to see Dakota Fanning play an evil little vampire, and it was nice to see SyFy Channel regular Christopher Heyerdahl as one of the Three Kings of the Vampires. But that was about it for the fun bits.
The make up was silly and over the top, the pale skin and the strange contact lens. Or maybe it was all done with computers, like the ridiculously large wolves our buff and ripped teenage vampire hunters turn into.
Stephenie Meyer said that she cranked out Twilight in a couple of months and I’m guessing that she didn’t spent much more time than that on New Moon.
