Have a Blog or Have a Life

You really can’t have both you know. I’ve been diddling around here for a bit, just looking at Google Trends and this and that, I almost wrote a blog post about a service that is hiring people to be personal assistants-in the stand in line and buy me tickets sort of way. It only cost twenty dollars a months so I can imagine what they pay the people who pick up the dry cleaning. But that didn’t seem all that interesting. Then I thought about writing a blog post about the 2009 Harley Davidsons, only there don’t seem to be…

Buzz, Trends, and Blogs

Buzz marketing and viral marketing are the same thing-word of mouth marketing for your product and a desire to visit your website. As a money making blogger I am a big fan of Adsense for search. Back in the dark ages, a few months ago, I used to look for blogs with the Blogger Next Blog Button. You rarely found anything interesting as it is so random that you had to rely on karma to find a good blog. But it was a fun way to while away the odd hour. Then I found Google Blog Search, Blogcatalog, Entrecard, and DoFollo, all much better at helping me find blogs I might like and want to leave comments on. Blogcatalog and Entrecard have their own little groups of Power Users who appear to be everywhere on those…

The Rich and Famous love to blog as much as the rest of us do. Some even more so. I have often been shocked and amazed at people who have blogs. There are hundreds of writers that have blogs. Many of these writers I have never heard of, but it still boggles the mind that they spent time working on a blog rather than working a book. One of the cool things about blogs is that they are easy to start. Just a few clicks and Bam! you have a blog. But then there is all that stuff that follows…
