Dr Pepper is an old stand by here is Texas. Waco and Dublin both having strong Dr Pepper roots. Waco for inventing the stuff and Dublin for being one of the last places that uses Real Pure Cane Sugar to make Dr Pepper. Unless you live overseas, where corn is not king and real sugar still finds its way into most sodas. Cold Spaghetti-O’s and Frozen Twinkies

I grew up in a slightly odd household. My Mom was one of those Thrifty Sorts that did everything she could to keep her family feed. Part of this was buying a lot of stuff in bulk. Part was freezing things like bread and Twinkies, that I am not at all sure were improved by freezing. Being my mother’s son, I took to doing things a bit off myself.
