The new Bud Light commercials that feature one of the shortest catchphrases in history has a fairly hapless couple of Dudes wandering around a football game saying Dude over and over again. The Bud Light commercials have been great for years, all the way back to the Give Me A Light-No, A Bud Light. This Bud Light Commercial is a bit more subtle that the ones that feature a lot of bud light signs, bud light neon signs, and
Bud Light logos. We only see a few shots of Bud Light bottles and then get a nice shot of the Bud Light logo as the ad ends.
The heroes of this Bud Light commercial seem to be having trouble getting a hold of some NFL tickets. But they manage to get inside, maybe it is even an NFL playoff game. My favorite part is when our hero steps into a bathroom stall and the backs out at once-Dude. This Bud Light ad is just as silly as the What’s Up ads of a few years ago. The Dude Bud Light commercial is a little less cerebral than the Bud Light Radio Commercials-Real Men of Genius, and they ran out of steam pretty quickly on that one as well. I fully expect Bud Light to run the Bud Light Dude campaign into the ground as well. Seems to be what they do an ad that works, just keep hitting us with it until it is no where near funny anymore. Dude.
