Mary-Louise Parker, Weeds, and a Big Snake

I’ve been naked quite a bit, actually,” Parker said of posing with the snake. ”You Google me, you’ll see it all.”

True enough, there are a lot of pictures of this pretty young woman from the Showtime cable network floating about. I remember Mary-Louise Parker from Fried Green Tomatoes and Saved, both funny, offbeat movies-without much nudity as I recall. But those were both a few years back, I seem to have missed the forty or so other movies she has made. I don’t watch the West Wing either, but I do like nudity and snakes.
The third season of Weeds starts on Showtime cable channel tonight but that is not nearly as much fun to talk about as the snake draped over her lovely shoulder.
I like zoos, and from time to time at zoos, you get the chance to pick up one of these really big snakes as part of the show. Those things are heavy. They are solid muscle and there is no really easy way to handle one as they tend to want to move around a bit. So most of the shows have two or three people carrying a snake around for laughs. The idea of tossing one over your shoulder as in this picture of Mary-Louise Parker makes my back hurt. Sorry, Showtime, not too sexy that, eh?
Maybe an ad of Mary-Louise in the nude is not really a perfect ad for the Showtime cable show Weeds, like the one where the cast was in a ziplock bag, but it a lot more fun to look at. Great lighting by the way.
A bit later-I didn’t expect 1000 comments, and I didn’t get them, but several hundred hits were nice.
