RachelRay.Com is nice happy site with a lot of pictures of Rachel Ray and her friends. Like Oprah she has her own little empire going on here, The TV Show, The Magazine, Her Charity Work, and all the normal stuff like how to cook and Ask Rachel Questions and oh yeah, So You Think You Can Cook?
I’m not really up for the challenge, one-I can’t cook that well, and two-I have to do enough smiling as a portrait photographer, doing it on TV all day would just wear me out. But it sounds like a neat idea.

Of course, I do meet the requirement of being a non-professional cook, no one would pay me to boil water. Still there was a time when I wanted to cook for a living. That was before I read Kitchen Confidential and learned that I did not want to be a line cook. Being a Celebrity Cook, now that might be another story. Rachel Ray is pretty and wears nice clothes while she whips up her latest creations. She never has to clean up the mess and whatever she cooks turns out perfect every time. So yeah, being a Rachel Ray type cook would be a lot easier than being an Anthony Bourdain type cook.
So if your up to challenge whip up a video and keep smiling while you cook something only you can cook. Hey the top five contestants get a free trip to New York City-hmm, maybe I could whip up some tamales, Rachel Ray would like tamales, wouldn’t she? Or maybe some of my world famous Chocolate Truffles. Rachel Ray seems to like chocolate, but then, who doesn’t?
RachelRay.Com is supposed to be all nice and new on Sept 27th, so maybe we’ll have to check back and see. Meanwhile, keep cooking, right?
