At the end of J J Abrams trailer we see the head of the Statue of Liberty come crashing down, so it is no surprise to see a headless Lady Liberty here. There is also that nice v shape in the water, indicating that something large is heading into the city. I really like the look of this one sheet. Of course, there is no guarantee that this is the one sheet or that it will be called Monstrous. The latest rumor has Paramount whipping up a site at http://www.themonstrousmovie.com/ Nothing there. . .yet.
On the 1-18-08 front, there are now five images, all of which can be turned over by wiggling the pointer back and forth or up and down. Only the party images say anything. Just the best wishes one might expect to someone going away. The last image is blurry and features a solider with an automatic weapon.
Slusho has added some content as well. Happy Talk seems to feature some of the emails that the site has received telling them how happy we all are. One I liked said Slusho is People. Funny. Fresh For You features flavors that look a bit like transformers. The Store links takes you to a fashion show and a link where it seems you can buy Slusho shirts and the like. There is also a bit of new music to go with the mondo annoying music it already has. Slusho makes you look freezing! Can’t drink just six. That fills out all the buttons, kind of sad really. Whatever shall we do now?
There are a couple of sites that may or may not have anything do with Monstrous, which say the traveler is coming and be patient the time will come soon enough. . .sound more like a teaser for Ghostbusters.
I like the poster and the new stuff on slusho and 1-18-08. That’s it for this cloverleaf update.
