Standard Horizon CP500 GPS Chartplotter

Ok, let’s say I have won the lotto and just bought a big honking yatch. It’s one of those great white beauties that people are always dying on in CSI: Miami. My first day as skipper, we head out in the wide open seas-and get lost. What do I know about driving a yatch? Nothing! But I know I would need some fancy gee whiz gizmo to save the day. Enter the Standard Horizon CP500 GPS Chartplotter.
The Standard Horizon CP500 GPS Chartplotter is a state of the art piece of equipment. You won’t be lost when you use the CP500 WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System-uses a satellites signal correction systems to tell you where you are) enabled GPS Chart Plotter. With it’s sharp HD 12-inch display-800×600 and viewable in direct sunlight-TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) display-you’ll be able to see where you are and where your going.

The Standard Horizon CP500 GPS Chartplotter is one of the best of its kind. The easy to read display has all the information you need to find your way through unfamiliar waters. Easily seen in locations where the Chart Plotter cannot be mounted directly in front of you. Store 3000 Routes with 50 waypoints each -Stop as often as you like and stay on course.

Not only does the Standard Horizon CP500 GPS Chartplotter have a clear display, it can also be loaded with enough Waypoints and Marks to guarantee you will always find your destination. C-Map NT+ or MAX Compatible – C-MAP is the best cartography available-electronic charts which are easily updated. The CP500 comes pre-loaded with detailed cartography down to the 2NM scale. If you need more detail, C-MAP offers many different chart configurations. The Standard Horizon CP500 GPS Chartplotter has 2 C-Map Cartography slots for larger coverage areas.

With the Standard Horizon CP500 GPS Chartplotter resting in easy line of sight, all is right with the world. Of course, if I did win the Lotto and buy a yatch, I wouldn’t be piloting it anyway. I’d have someone in a nice white uniform to do that for me. And I’d be sure to tell the Captain of my lovely yatch-stay away from Miami.
