In a secret lab where they do bad things-wait for it-something goes wrong. Our heroes are a small group of CDC doctors who are called in to help with an outbreak in a freakishly advanced research faculty surrounded by frozen tundra. In standard cosy catastrophe fashion, we have a nice enclosed population of 120 or so people which will doubtlessly decrease by regular amounts throughout the season. BBC’s In The Flesh

It was only a matter of time before Zombies joined the ranks of Werewolves and Vampires as merely misunderstood victims of an unfortunate accident.  In The Flesh tells the story of a recovering Zombie, a victim of Partially Dead Syndrome, who needs a daily shot of medication to keep his brain-eating tendencies at bay.  The local chapter of the neighborhood watch wants to drag him into the street and kill him.  And he keeps having these flashbacks of the last people killed and another zombie he used to hunt with.  All in all, he’s having a difficult time adjusting. Dear Suzanne Collins

Are you a fan of The Matrix?  I love The Matrix, it’s a near perfect film with it’s classic hero’s story.  I loved the characters, I loved the story, and I loved the look of the film.  Then the Wachowski Brothers were seduced by all the money that a successful movie gave them and they forgot the story and characters in favor of special effects.  The next two films had so little in common with The Matrix that they might as well have been set in another universe.
