Flight of the Conchords is a wonderfully stupid show about a couple of wanna be digi-folk stars from New Zealand and their really bad Manager. They are a luckless pair who lack such things as a fan base, a budget, or much talent to speak of. Like most HBO shows this one is a little on the quirky side, but I like it.
Part of the shows charm is that we get to hear the Conchords sing their latest terrible song. My favorite Conchord song is The Humans Are Dead. It’s a short little ditty about how robots took over the world in the 1990s. You’d never guess this video was shot with no budget and a cell phone.
